Enemy behavior

Part of Into the Dungeon.

Give the dungeon teeth. By the end, an enemy patrols its area and chases the hero when they get close.

What this class covers

Patrolling enemies
An enemy paces back and forth along its patch of the dungeon.
Spotting the hero
When the hero gets close, the enemy notices and gives chase, so the dungeon feels alive and dangerous.

Optional Customizations

Just-for-fun customizations to try on your own between classes. Never needed to keep up.

  1. Add a second, faster enemy.
  2. Make an enemy give up and return when the hero escapes.
  3. Adjust how far an enemy can see.
