Try game development in four fun classes! Your learner designs a hero, builds a forest world, adds an enemy to defeat, then publishes their finished game online to share.

By the end: a complete little top-down game with a hero, an enemy to defeat, a title screen, a victory screen, and music, published online to share.

The classes

One live class each week. Open any week to see what your learner will build.

  1. Week 1

    Your Hero Comes to Life

    Your learner meets GameMaker and brings a hero to life, walking and animating in all four directions.

    The Forest Turns Solid

    Your learner paints their own forest and makes the world solid, so the hero cannot walk through trees.
