Build a living village! An animated hero who walks and swings a sword, villagers to talk to, and a camera that follows the action.
By the end: a walkable village with solid walls, an animated four-direction hero who swings a sword, friendly characters with real dialogue, a camera that follows the hero, plus sound and music. All exported and ready to share.

Setup and movement
Project setup and sprite import; an animated hero who walks in four directions.

The world
Build the village with tile ground and walls, collisions, and a camera that follows the hero across a world bigger than the screen.

Meeting people
Place NPCs and proximity triggers, so a text box appears when the hero steps up and presses Z.

Real dialogue
Multi-line conversations the player advances key by key, with different characters saying different things.

The sword
An attack animation and a hitbox, so swinging the sword does something visible: chops grass, breaks pots, hits a training dummy that flashes.
